Gerrie completed his articles in 1982 with Coopers and Lybrand and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. He worked for Eskom, Mastertreads and Pepkor before joining Roelcor Meat in 1987. He retired in 2014 as managing director. During his 27 years in the meat industry Gerrie served as:

Steven qualified as a veterinarian at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Pretoria in Onderstepoort during 1992. He work in the mixed animal practice of Balfour Animal Clinic from 1992 to 1996. In 1996 he opened a one-man veterinary practice in Heidelberg: HF Verwoerdstraat Dierekliniek. Steven is still running the practice.
He has experience in large animals, small animals and game. Steven also performed meat inspection at smaller abattoirs in the area and relieved at Karan Beef abattoir in Balfour. He has been the veterinarian for Imqas at Eskort abattoir from 2008 to 2011 and again from 2014. In January 2018 Steven was appointed as the supervisory veterinarian for IMQAS in terms of the Meat Inspection Scheme.

Gerrie started his career in 2003 as a slaughterer at Country Meat in Kroonstad. During 2007 he completed a GMP and HACCP course. He completed a Meat Examiners course in 2008 and joined IMQAS. During 2009 he completed the classification course. He assisted with training meat inspection and classification students and did relief work at various abattoirs. He also implemented GMP and HMS systems at abattoirs.

During 2016 Gerrie left IMQAS and joined Superb Meat Abattoir in Bloemfontein as wholesale/slaughter floor manager. In January 2024 he rejoined IMQAS as relief official for Northern Cape and Free State. In February 2024 IMQAS promoted Gerrie to Regional Manager for the Northern Cape. He is also responsible for abattoirs in the Free state.

Johan obtained his National Diploma in Environmental Health from the Free State Technicon in 1995. During 1996 and 1997 he held the position of Assistant Production Manager at Grahams Town Export Ostrich abattoir. In 1998 he started working for IMQAS as Meat Inspector / Classifier and held the position of Assistant Internal Auditor until he left in 2006. In 2007 he worked as Trainee Food Manager at Woolworths.
Johan then joined Prestige Cleaning Services as Operations Manager. In 2009 he was employed as Hygiene Manager at QK Meats SA. After a 3-year absence, Johan joined IMQAS again. He worked as a Meat Inspector and Classifier as well as a slaughter floor and Hygiene Manager. In 2012, he joined the management team as Regional Manager in the Free State. Johan has been a Director of IMQAS since 2014.

Pieter completed his Environmental Health Practitioner studies at the Witwatersrand Technicon in 1971. He also completed national diplomas in Public Health and Health Education. He then joined the Germiston city council. He was responsible for environmental health, sanitary services and internal training.
Pieter did part time lecturing at the Witwatersrand Technicon in Public Health and was appointed National Examiner. He joined Mosselbaai abattoir in 1998 as Meat Inspector and also did the Meat Classification. In 2011 IMQAS took over the services and Pieter joined the company. He was appointed as Regional Manager for the Western Cape in 2017.

Rabelani studied Animal Health Technology at the Mafikeng campus of North West University and Graduated in 2008. In 2009 he completed the Red Meat Examiner course at the Tshwane University of Technology. Rabelani started his career with SAMIC and also qualified as a Red Meat Classifier. In October 2010 he joined IMQAS as Meat Inspector and Classifier.
During 2013 Rabelani was promoted to Relief and Training Official. Since then he also worked at Medina abattoir, briefly resigned and joined IMQAS again. In April 2018 Rabelani was promoted as Regional Manager for Limpopo and Mpumalanga. He is also responsible for some abattoirs in North West and Gauteng.

In 2010 Meat and Allied Services amalgamated with IMQAS. Shaun was appointed as Relief Official. He also became involved in training students with the training division of IMQAS. Shaun worked as a Relief and Training Official for IMQAS for 6 years. In 2016 IMQAS promoted Shaun as Regional Manager for the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal.
